Threads are dissolvable stitches that promote collagen and elastin production. A thread has etched or coned structures that enable it to hook into and lift the tissue beneath the skin. The material from which the thread is made then stimulates collagen production in the skin.

A Thread Lift operates in two ways:

Thread lift before and after
Why are the benefits of a non-surgical Silhouette Soft thread lift?
Are Threads suitable for a neck lift?

If you are looking for treatment for laxity in your neck causing sagging neck skin, or excess fat causing a double chin a thread lift is not the most effective treatment.
