Session 3

This was the third session of the Dungeons & Dragons campaign DM of the Week. The DM was Ziti and it took place on November 3, 2024.

Summary

After the encounter with the doctor, now named Dr Disrespect, the party regroups, including Waldo who finally reveals himself. Everyone agrees to leave the way station to try and rescue Ziti and BlazeDragon. First, Zad grabs a bottle of alcohol from the bar and Abra Cadaver pockets some stale pretzels. Investigating the jeep outside, the party finds a talking skull in the trunk who introduces himself as John Arbuckle. He claims to have worked for Dr Disrespect, but was clearly abandoned in the jeep. He agrees to lead the party to Dr Disrespect's castle at the top of the mountain.

Outside the castle, the party forms a plan. Abra Cadaver decides to cast Disguise Self and turn into Dr Disrespect leading the party as prisoners into the castle. Since Zad was the only one who saw the doctor and lived, he described the doctor's appearance to Abra. The party is successfully able to enter the castle this way, but eventually the skeleton guards suspect them and send Abra, Suzy, and Waldo down a trapdoor while Zad escapes towards a hedge maze. Every member of the party then solves a puzzle relevant to their class and abilities and meets up again.
